Keer Pandaripuram Machilipatnam Temple
This temple was built by Teki Narasimham on 13 Sep 1929. It is believed that Lord Vishnu self-manifested here as Panduranga. It stands second in the row of Panduranga Temples. Pandaripuram in Maharastra is the first in the list. At Chilakalapudi Temple, Poojas are not charged and no Hundi for offerings. Devotees used to offer Patika Bellam (Rock Candy).
Devotees used to take a holy dip at Manginapudi Seashore during Karthika Masam. A special festival (Thirunall) will be held in Karthika Masam. Devotees used to take bath with Wellwater from 12 holy wells located next to Manginapudi seashore.
Satyanarayana Vratham will be performed for the group in this temple.
There are 108 sub-temples within in the temple complex.
