Sobhanachala Swamy Temple Agiripalli

Sobhanachala Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Siva. Devulapalli Achyutabagavantulu built this temple in 1626 A.D.  Car (Rathotsavam) festival will be celebrated in a grand, where thousands of devotees participate in this mega event. Maghotsavam is one the main festivals of the temple, which falls between Pushya Bahula Ekadasi and Maga Suddha Sapthami. During festival days, Lord will be taken out in a procession. There are 740 steps to reach the temple. 

To the west of Sobhanagiri Hill, there is a temple tank called Varaha Pushkarini. It is said that Lord Adi Varaha Swamy an incarnation of Lord Vishnu dug this tank, hence it is named after the Lord Varaha Swamy.

Evening Hours: 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
