History of Koluvu Srinivasa Idol Tirumala

Koluvu Srinivasa holds court, called the Darbar or Asthanam, every morning in the temple, in the Tirumamani Mandapama and the total amount offered in the Hundi the previous day is announced before the diety.
Koluvu Srinivasa is like the Supervising guardian of the Temple
The Darbar is held after Tomala Seva. Koluvu Srinivasa Idol is seated in a silver chair under a gold umbrella and is adorned with a Simha Thoranam. The Panchangam for the day is also read out, followed by a report of the Hundi ( Kopparai) collections of the Previous day. The daily rations are given here.
Most probably, The Thiruvilan Koil Perumanadigal mentioned in the inscriptions; must have become the Bali Beram.
